EVE follows the adventures of a robot living with a family in suburbia and trying to make sense of human life as a teenage girl. EVE was created by Tracey Beaker Returns’ Emma Reeves and David Chikwe. The series stars Poppy Lee Friar (Mr Selfridge), Oliver Woolford (Utopia) and Jane Asher.

EVE is a family drama, a sci-fi adventure series and a fish-out of-water comedy-of-manners all at the same time. On one level it’s a show about the big ‘teen questions’ but in exploring Eve’s predicament the show also asks: “What is life?”, “What does it mean to be human?” and ultimately, “What is the destiny of humanity?”.
